Many countries or cities have their own signature treats; This also applies to Basel (Switzerland). Läckerli Huus is an iconic retail chain with a wide variety of exquisite chocolate and biscuit specialities . Moreover, they have been known since 1904 (!) for their hand-painted biscuit tins.
